199,500 liters saved through our [bottle-tank] campaign!

Our goal is to save 1,000,000 liters by the end of 2015.

Less amount of water is needed per toilet flush .
By placing a plastic bottle or a rock inside a toilet tank its going to take up some of the tank volume, therefore we can save almost 0.6 liter per flush.

This method was being used from the 70s, but new toilet tanks after 1992 have double flushing method (Full flush or half flush ) .

Average number of toilet flushes in houses is 10 flushes per day .
By placing a small 0.6 L water bottle, we save 6 Liters per day

50 people applied the idea since September 2013, and the result was almost saving 300 liters per day.
